Overstimulated | Original Mixed Media Sculpture

Original Mixed Media Sculpture — 2026

Overstimulated is a physical representation of what it feels like when everything is happening at once.

Built slowly over the course of more than a year, the surface is covered in hundreds of individual marks and layers of color. Nothing was planned to be perfectly clean or uniform. Each addition stayed exactly where it landed, allowing the piece to grow through accumulation rather than correction.

From a distance, it reads as an explosion of color. Up close, every inch becomes its own tiny landscape of texture, movement, and paint.

The repetition, density, and almost overwhelming amount of visual information are intentional. It’s loud, tactile, chaotic, colorful, and alive — a sculptural interpretation of existing inside an overstimulated mind.

This is the first original sculpture I’ve released in this form, making it an especially personal piece in my body of work.
